We’re excited about the newly released diesel engine on the 2019 Mazda CX-5. The all-new diesel 2.2L four-cylinder SKYACTIV®-G engine delivers 168 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque and pairs with our i-ACTIV AWD® system. Mazda also offers two other powertrain options:
- The standard fuel-efficient four-cylinder SKYACTIV®-G engine with an automatic i-ACTIV®-Drive transmission and front-wheel drive creates 187 horsepower for quick pick-up.
- 5L turbocharged four-cylinder SKYACTIV®-G engine produces 250 horsepower and pairs with i-ACTIV AWD®.
With five trims to choose from, including the all-new Signature model, the 2019 Mazda CX-5 is easy to customize.
